Education Highlights

With a goal of overhauling university software education, we recruited Professor Won Kim, a world-renowned scholar, and established the Department of Software, the only education-specialized department in Gachon University. The curriculum and education methods reflect the industry’s demands, and are not shackled to conventional methods.

Curriculum

Software (major) + Business Administration (minor)
Software: focuses on smart data processing
Four advanced tracks for juniors and seniors

① General (a wide range of software knowledge and effective practical training)
② Web & Mobile (Web & app design and development)
③ Smart System (Internet of Things, app-development robot, drone, virtual/augmented reality, etc.)
④ Artificial Intelligence (data science, big data analysis and application, speech recognition, vision recognition, etc.)

Students start working on graduation projects in the first semester of junior year
